Happy Star Wars Day!

What a crazy month and a half I've had; sick kids, sick me, trip to Disney World (Which was awesome!), and losing our furry friend, Allie to cancer ( So not awesome!). Anyway, I'm back on track-I hope- and ready to rumble. For today, I'm sending out positive vibes into the galaxies far, far away and to all my fellow nerds. Happy Star Wars Day! and remember...

Seriously?????

So, for Winter Carnival week at the girl's school the teachers decided to show a movie today.
This is the movie they chose:                                    

Yep. Out of all the freaking movies in the world to choose from, this is what they decide to show 6 to 12 year olds. The saddest movie in frigging history.
Em came home from school traumatized. She hasn't been able to stop talking about it and how horrible it made her feel to watch it. Of course, she is a super sensitive kid....and to make things even worse, we are having a horrible EVENT occur on Friday which has her poor nerves shot to hell and back. Still, I cannot imagine what the school officials were thinking when they came up with this bright idea.
What do you all think? Am I being too sensitive, or are the teachers just plain boneheads?
More importantly, did everyone else bawl their eyes out when they saw this movie????????

Trying to design a blog and make honey-bran muffins for two starving kids is not an easy task. Why am I doing this again? Oh yes...because I'm bored :-)
